Monia Jamdani House owner Md Monir Hossain said, “Our factory produces all kinds of Jamdani saris. However, there is no demand for expensive saris in the fair.”

He said there was a lack of buyers and visitors in the fair due to minimal publicity regarding the expo.

“We are still hoping of rising in sales from previous years which was almost 1core Tk. But this time outcome may be different from the previous year due to the reduction of 8 stalls of the previous year,” said Nasima Akter.
