China and the United States have stable cotton planting intention and abundant cotton supply in the new year

On March 26, the national development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance jointly issued the announcement on improving Xinjiang cotton target price policy. Since April, new cotton cultivation in the northern hemisphere has started. According to the statistics of the United States Department of agriculture, as of April 6, the progress of new cotton planting in the United States was 7%, an average increase of 2% over the same period last year and five years.
