"In the first half of the year, the indicators of China's industrial economy dropped first and then increased, and the operation of the second quarter improved month by month." Xin Guobin, Vice Minister of industry and information technology, said there were four positive changes.

The purchasing manager index of the manufacturing industry in June was 50.9%, which was above the boom and bust line for four consecutive months.
Major industries and key provinces improved simultaneously. Among the 41 industrial categories, more than half of the industries achieved positive growth in the second quarter, of which the growth rate of the added value of the equipment manufacturing industry in May and June reached 9.5% and 9.7% respectively. In terms of regions, 18 provinces achieved positive growth in added value in the first half of the year. Most of the 10 major industrial provinces have resumed positive growth.
