Data show that Vietnam's total textile export in 2019 is as high as 39 billion US dollars. Among them, the European and American markets are the important export markets of Vietnam's textile industry.

Since the outbreak of "Xinguan" pneumonia, Vietnam, as the third largest textile export country in the world, has suffered serious losses due to the loss of textile orders. However, some experts said that although Vietnam has advantages in the production scale of the textile industry, there are still obvious shortcomings in the industrial chain. If Vietnam lacks the ability to produce raw materials, it needs to import a large number of foreign countries every year.
