With the twisting spindle as the main twisting mechanism, each turn can add two twists to the plied yarn. There are three types of double-twisted spindles: vertical, horizontal and inclined. It consists of a rotating part such as a spindle rod, an ingot and a storage tray, and a stationary part such as a yarn holding tank or a hollow spindle. The non-moving portion is sleeved outside the swivel portion and is in contact with the rolling bearing. The spindle is driven by a belt or an ingot belt to drive the storage tray to rotate together. In order to ensure that the non-moving part is not affected by the turning part, a brake device for the yarn holding tank is generally provided. There are three types of braking methods: magnetic braking, gravity braking and mechanical braking. The plied yarn is taken out from the supply bobbin, penetrated from the top end of the hollow ingot, passes through the side hole of the storage tray, and is wound onto the bobbin through the yarn guiding hook and the output roller. When the spindle or the storage tray is rotated one turn, a twist is added to the yarn in the hollow spindle tube and from the edge of the storage tray to the air guide portion of the yarn guide hook. When the direction is the same, two turns are obtained. The speed of the twisting machine is up to 14,000 rpm, and the twisting efficiency is doubled. It can be directly made into a large-capacity package, and the number of doffing is reduced, but the power consumption is large, and the joint operation is difficult.
