Classification of Twisters

Ring twister

    The ply yarn drawn from the drum is output from the guide roller through the guide rod and the transverse guide device, and is wound around the drum tube through the guide hook and the traveler. When the spindle drives the tube to rotate together, the yarn pulls the traveller to rotate on the ring and twists the yarn.

The bobbins on the bobbin frame are mostly looped on the insert in the horizontal form, and the ply yarn pulls the bobbin from the side and turns back. In order to reduce the end breakage caused by excessive tension during unwinding of single yarn, a conical cylinder is used to tightly cover the insert spindle, and the single yarn is pulled out axially from the respective end of the tube to realize the coalescence in the feeding frame. The combined twisting machine can save the process of yarn drawing and is generally only suitable for double strand yarns with low spinning quality requirements. The guide roller is usually a pair of smooth rollers. Lower roller is 6 to 8 ingots one section, full-length mosaic. Each spindle of the upper roller is driven by self-weight and friction of the lower rollers. The composite yarn has a certain winding method on the roller, so that the yarn and the roller have enough long friction surround arc to ensure that the roller conveys yarn to the twisting area at a uniform speed. Some of them use two lower rollers or even two pairs of rollers to adapt to the high twist tension and evenly feed yarns on special spinning thick strands or twisting machines. In the roller part, some twisting machines are equipped with self-stop device for broken ends. Some twisting machines are equipped with a water tank under the guide rod. Before twisting the ply yarn, the water is first applied, which is called wet twisting machine. Wet twisted yarn has the advantages of high strength and smooth surface, but anti-rust materials are needed for rollers and guide frames.

    The winding mechanism of ring spinning twister is mostly the same as that of ring spinning frame. Ring plate is driven by forming cam for short-range lifting. After each lifting, the position rises to a certain height, so that the pipeline is wound into a conical cross-winding package. Bilateral barrels are often used in spinning thick strands or in twisting machines. The ring plate can increase the density and capacity of the roll-up if it is lifted and lowered slowly in a single way. The main difference between the traditional fancy twister and the general twister is the yarn feeding part. The types of fancy yarns are different, and the mechanism and movement of the yarn feeding part are also different.

   Wing Spindle Twister

    The main twisting parts are spindle wings. Except for the feeding part, the other mechanisms are similar to the suspended wing spinning frame, which is often used for jute twisting.

   Double twisting twister

    With double twist spindle as the main twisting machine, two twists can be added to the ply yarn in each turn. There are three types of double twist spindles: vertical, horizontal and oblique, most of which are vertical. It consists of spindle rod, spindle disc and yarn storage disc, and fixed parts such as yarn container and hollow spindle tube. The fixed part is sleeved outside the rotating part, which is connected by rolling bearings. The spindle disc is driven by a dragon belt or spindle belt, which drives the yarn storage disc to rotate together. In order to ensure that the fixed part is not affected by the rotary part, the braking device of the yarn can is usually installed. There are three braking modes: magnetic braking, gravity braking and mechanical braking. The plywood yarn is drawn from the feeding bobbin, pierced through the top of the hollow spindle tube, and through the side hole of the yarn storage tray, and wound onto the bobbin through the guide hook and the output roller. When the spindle or yarn storage tray rotates one circle, two twists are obtained when the yarn in the hollow spindle tube and the balloon part between the side hole of the yarn storage tray and the guide hook is twisted in the same direction. The spindle speed of this twisting machine is as high as 14000/rpm. The twisting efficiency is doubled. It can be directly manufactured into large capacity bobbins with less yarn dropping times, but the power consumption is high and the joint operation is difficult.
