Flowers or severe cloud spots on both sides of the card web
It is easy to form sandwich fiber bundle defects in the sliver after drawing frame drafting. After the drawing frame is drawn, the disordered fiber bundle can not be drawn to form big belly yarn, which causes roving end breakage.
Solutions:
① In carding process, reasonable cleaning cycle and blowing position should be formulated, and the hanging and accumulated flowers on both sides of the large leakage bottom of the carding machine should be thoroughly cleaned, and the hanging flowers in the cylinder doff triangle area should be stopped and cleaned in time.
② It is necessary to strengthen the patrol operation of the card operator, timely pick up the accumulated flowers of the cleaning brush of the stripping roller, ensure the photoelectric sensitivity of the doffer's return, and avoid the doffer's return to damage the card clothing, resulting in large cloud spots and holes in the cotton web.

The sliver spun from roller cot and the cotton sliver attached with flannel flower will have broken ends
The main causes of the winding of the lower roller of the drawing frame are excessive lower suction, poor function or falling off of the lower cleaner. The mechanic should adjust the lower suction outlet to ensure the appropriate air suction volume, and regularly check and replace the lower cleaning rubber ring to ensure its good function.
Under normal circumstances, excessive humidity, increased traction force or cot coating peeling off will lead to the phenomenon of cot entanglement. Once the phenomenon of winding roller cots is found, the stop worker should take out the problem sliver in time, and draw the serious sliver with roller and cot winding to the laboratory for weight and sliver test in time to track the quality; the drawing machine cleaning flannel has poor rotation, non rotation and suction The poor air suction of cotton dust and blockage of suction port will make the flannel flower not be absorbed in time, and the accumulated short pile impurities fall into the sliver to form a large number of short pile clusters and impurity slivers, which will increase the breakage during the drafting of roving frame.

Slivers are fed into each other to produce tops
The sliver fed after drawing and roving frame should be led out vertically from the sliver barrel and fed in parallel through the guide roller to avoid the sliver rubbing with each other and forming disordered fiber sliver on the surface. This kind of sliver will not only increase the breakage in roving process, but also produce a lot of short staple and NEP yarn defects in spinning process. In the actual operation process, the sliver in the sliver barrel should be in accordance with the principle of high outside and low inside to avoid sliver cross and friction.

Roving breakage is caused by poor sliver channel, poor drawing draft and poor draft quality
① It is necessary to ensure the cleanness of sliver channel, and do all kinds of cleaning in time according to the cleaning schedule, and do not pat when cleaning. The suction bucket and rotary flannel should always be kept in good condition.
② Ensure that the sliver channel is smooth and smooth, the collector and bell mouth are free of damage and burr, and the sliver barrel is repaired in time. The rubber strip of air suction hopper is aged and replaced in time to avoid roving breakage caused by hanging flowers sandwiched into sliver.
③ Adjust the opening of the stripper in the drawing feeding area to make the sliver neither overlap nor disperse, and make the sliver enter into the drafting area in the middle of the drafting cot, so as to avoid poor drafting and non opening.
④ Adjust the position of the collector and keep its two ends horizontal, so that the sliver can enter the buncher and bell mouth smoothly, and the wrinkled fiber bundle caused by side obstruction will not be formed, so that the roving draft will not be broken.
Poor sliver quality and equipment condition will increase the breakage of roving frame. Carding process should provide sliver with clear and uniform web structure for rough draft; in production, it is important to clean drafting area, keep sliver channel smooth and smooth, and reduce disordered fibers and slivers formed by sticking, winding, blocking, hanging and rubbing.
