Frequency Conversion Control Techniques of Latest Twisting Instruments

    As long as the yarn route and feeding materials are the same, yarns of different processes can be blended and continuously spun. For example, in 1m fancy yarn, 0.2m corrugated yarn, 0.3m loop yarn and 0.5m belly yarn can be produced continuously and alternately without stopping. The pre-selection setting of process sequence and the difference of sequence can produce different blended yarns, so the pattern can be said to be infinitely changeable.

    The process parameters can be stored up to 48 kinds. As long as the stored process is directly invoked, no parameter reset is required. Because on the same machine, it can not only make overfeeding yarn, but also control yarn spraying cotton, and can also make mixed yarn, which is complex and diverse, and also orderly. Electrical control is very complex, and the technology is difficult.

   Most of the fancy twisting machines produced at home and abroad adopt specially developed computer controllers to meet the above control requirements. Our solution is to use the programmable controller produced by Siemens, which has strong computing function and fast computing speed, as the core control device, and the LCD touch screen of the same company as the window of man-machine conversation.

    According to the function characteristics of programmable logic controller, LCD touch screen and the need of production technology, we designed and compiled a very friendly man-machine interface, which brought great convenience to process setting and operation debugging. Various process parameters can be pre-selected and stored through the man-machine interface, and set in units commonly used in spinning mills. For example, the speed of the roller is in the unit of how many meters per minute of the linear speed. The process calculation is simple and easy to understand. According to the specific conditions of process parameters, the machine will automatically identify which type of yarn is produced and which control is used, and the screen will automatically show which yarn is being produced.

    When the machine breaks down, there are detailed text prompts on the screen. Help maintenance personnel troubleshooting. Each transmission part can be operated independently through the screen, which is convenient for the debugging of the machine. For the control of frequency converter, we adopt more advanced communication technology.

    A communication cable is used to connect the programmable controller and five converters. The programmable controller is used as the main station and five converters are used as the slave station. The programmable controller and the LCD touch screen are connected by another communication cable to form a micro industrial network, which makes the whole electrical control system into an organic whole. Such a system composition method can make the quality stable and reliable, anti-jamming performance strong and long life as long as the mature intelligent control devices such as programmable logic controller, frequency converter and LCD touch screen are selected in hardware.

   In addition, we reserved some spare input and output points and expansion ports on the programmable controller. If we improve the machine in the future, such as adding a rocker, a set of transmission, adding a frequency converter on the electrical, extending the communication line for a period, and adding a program in the software, we can upgrade the machine and produce a new fancy twister.
