With the progress of science and technology and the improvement of life quality, consumers have higher and higher requirements for the functionality and fashion elements of printing and dyeing products. In order to improve the product quality and R & D level of the industry, and build an industry platform for learning and exchanging excellent products, China printing and dyeing industry association has launched a collection and exhibition activity of "China's excellent printing and dyeing fabrics" since 2010. In this year's fabric collection and exhibition activities, China printing and Dyeing Industry Association received 345 fabrics from 65 enterprises. The association carefully collates and analyzes the collected fabrics, and forms the Research Report on the development and trend of printing and dyeing fabrics in 2020.


Trend 2 fabric development pays more attention to green environmental protection concept

Today, the concept of sustainability has become a permanent topic in the textile industry. From the perspective of fiber, Tencel, modal, polylactic acid fiber, PTT and other bio based fibers with low carbon, green and renewable characteristics have become the main raw materials for development. The development trend of regenerated fibers such as polyester and nylon is obvious.

A total of 35 Tencel pure or blended / interwoven fabrics were collected, accounting for 10.1% of the total samples. For example, "magic flower singularity" Tencel fabric of Huafang Co., Ltd. has delicate and comfortable hand feeling, soft drape, unique pattern style, fresh and elegant, and excellent spirit; Zhejiang meixinda textile printing and Dyeing Technology Co., Ltd. "urban travel" tencel blended fabric is soft and elegant, full of draping feeling, good moisture absorption and air permeability, and skin friendly comfort. In addition, modal fiber is harmless to human body and environment due to its natural raw materials. The products are soft, comfortable to wear, with excellent moisture absorption, light and breathable, smooth and close to the body, and become the key products developed by many enterprises. The biodegradability of polylactic acid (PLA) fiber, soft and smooth fabric, moisture absorption and air permeability, and comfortable handle have also attracted many enterprises to develop.

Bio based PTT fiber is also one of the popular products. Due to its ecological and environmental protection concept, the fabric has the characteristics of soft handle, deformation memory and good drapability. Some enterprises will T400 composite elastic fiber by PTT and pet two kinds of polyester fiber through the juxtaposition compound processing, has the excellent elasticity, the product wears comfortable does not bind.

It is worth noting that the proportion of regenerated fiber products continues to increase. Recycled polyester and recycled nylon fabrics are of great significance for the sustainable development of low-carbon emission reduction advocated by our country. Through recycling coke bottles, mineral water bottles, nylon yarn, nylon silk, etc., they can be recycled and can effectively reduce carbon dioxide emissions. They can be made into work uniforms, gloves, scarves, sportswear, blankets, hats, etc. There are 25 recycled polyester and nylon fabrics in this collection, accounting for 7.2% of the total products.

Green printing and dyeing process has become the common understanding of enterprise development. Green consumption has become an important part of clothing consumption, which requires more and more ecological and environmental protection in dyeing and finishing. Bio enzyme pretreatment, plant dyeing, low formaldehyde non iron finishing, physical mechanical finishing and other green printing and dyeing processes have become the main choice for the development of printing and dyeing fabrics.

As an environmental friendly additive, enzyme has become the first choice to replace acid, alkali, oxidant and other chemicals. After the treatment, the chemical residues on the fabric can be reduced, and the cloth surface is clean and smooth. A total of 13 enzyme treated fabrics were collected, accounting for 3.8% of the total samples. For example, the blended fabric of Dongguan deyongjia textile and Garment Co., Ltd. adopts biological enzyme treatment, the surface of the fabric is clean, the luster and handle of Tencel are retained, and the fabric texture is delicate and the body is tight and elastic.

Plant dyeing uses original ecological plant dyes, which can reduce the harm of chemical dyes to human body. It has natural color, health and environmental protection, and is loved by consumers. For example, Zibo Xiangyuan Textile Co., Ltd.'s "cotton product plant dyeing" fabric has elegant color and soft luster, and saliva fastness reaches grade 4, which is suitable for bed products, baby products, underwear, etc.

Low formaldehyde easy care finish can reduce formaldehyde residue on fabric and reduce the adverse effect of formaldehyde on human body. Such as Lufeng weaving and dyeing Co., Ltd.'s "vibrant color" cotton and hemp fabric, using the unique texture of cotton and hemp as the background, simple and elegant pattern style, combined with liquid ammonia non iron technology, which is suitable for shirts and other products.

Physical mechanical finishing has become a new bright spot in fabric development. After physical mechanical finishing such as flanging, creping, embossing, calendering and flocking, the traditional printing and dyeing products can be more expressive and their surface fashion sense can be greatly enhanced. For example, Jiaxing Tianlun nano dyeing and finishing Co., Ltd.'s "summer night wave" fabric has a double pile fabric style, which has good drapability and elasticity.
