Six reasons and six countermeasures of filament and warp break in water jet weaving

Six reasons for the occurrence of filament and broken meridian

1. The physical and mechanical properties of raw materials are not ideal, the breaking strength of fiber is low, and the binding force of warp is poor. In the weaving process, the single fiber of warp is not able to stand the repeated friction of reed and heddle, resulting in the single fiber fuzzing or breaking.

2. The guide wire in warping and parallel process is fluted or damaged or the guide wire is shaken and wrapped tightly when it is unwound, which damages the strength and elongation of the fiber and deteriorates the mechanical property. When the production and processing tension exceeds the yield value of its strength and elongation, the single fiber breaks and breaks.

3. The reed and heald of the loom are grooved and damaged, and the warp cannot stand repeated high frequency friction and the end is broken. The faster the loom speed is, the more serious the warp break is.

4. The warping machine's wool monitor fails, which makes the raw material's own wool and long knot escape or the knot is too large and too long when the blocking worker breaks the warp joint. When weaving, the warp thread on the warp surface is tightly wrapped, resulting in unclear opening and broken ends.

5. When the loom is running, the opening height of its warp has a great influence on the warp hair and break. Because when the loom is open, the elongation of the warp is in direct proportion to the opening height. If the opening height of the loom is large, the elongation of the warp is large, and the excessive elongation causes the warp hair and break.

6. When the loom is running, the friction stroke of heald has a great influence on the warp breaking. When the heald frame is opened, the warp moves to the front of the heald, and when the shed is closed, the warp moves back from the heald eye. The distance of back and forth movement is the friction movement. The loom is running continuously, opening and closing are circulating continuously, and the warp is constantly moving back and forth in the heald eye and is subject to friction. It is also an important link to cause meridians broken. In particular, the opening height is too large, the opening parts are worn, the heald frame movement is not stable, the heald wire moves up and down, the loom speed is fast, and the phenomenon of warp broken is more serious.

"Six measures" to prevent filament and warp breakage

1. Optimize raw materials according to different varieties and quality requirements. After entering the factory, the raw materials shall be sampled for physical and mechanical property test first, followed by weft jet on the loom to make samples of raw materials' weavability and color absorption, so as to lay a foundation for the production of raw materials, reasonable formulation of sizing and technological parameters.

2. Regularly check the guide wire parts, wool monitor, electrostatic eliminator, automatic stop of broken head and other devices in the whole, sizing and merging process, and deal with the problems found in time. After starting the machine, check again to see if there is any wool on the warp shaft. If there is any, pick it out in time, inform the previous process and analyze the reason.

3. Strengthen the quality acceptance of reed and heald, and manage the regular inspection, cleaning and maintenance.

4. Regularly check and repair the opening device of heald frame of loom to prevent wear of opening parts, unstable movement of heald frame and swing of heald wire.

5. Under the condition of ensuring smooth weft insertion, the opening height should be as small as possible.

6. The vehicle stopper of each process shall strengthen the quality awareness. To improve operation skills, it is necessary to make clear the Silk Road of the broken end connector of the warp wire, and make sure that the knot is small, short and does not come off.
