At the same time, in the first quarter, Jilin chemical fiber group's small tow carbon fiber was successfully applied to the field of surface decoration cloth. The sales volume of large tow carbon fiber reached 997 tons, a substantial increase of 233% year on year.

It is understood that Jilin Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd., a listed company of Jilin chemical fiber group, currently holds 18% of the equity of Jilin Jinggong Carbon Fiber Co., Ltd. According to the announcement recently issued by Jinggong technology, a major shareholder of Jilin Jinggong, in 2019, Jilin Jinggong achieved a main business income of 254.85 million yuan (Unaudited).

On April 3, Jinggong technology announced that it plans to sign a sales contract for complete production line of large tow carbon fiber with Jilin Jinggong, the subject matter of which is a complete production line of large tow carbon fiber, including wire drawing machine, humidification station, pre oxygen furnace group, high and low temperature furnace, wire collector, etc., with a contract amount of 183 million yuan. The production line is expected to start at the end of July this year. If the line is put into production successfully, the capacity of Jingong's large tow carbon fiber will be expanded in the second half of the year, which also means that there is still room for market growth of Jilin chemical fiber group's large tow carbon fiber in the future.

It is also understood that in the first quarter, in terms of cost reduction, Jilin chemical fiber group strengthened the optimization of all elements of human, machine, material, method and environment, challenged the "extreme" cost reduction, and carried out in-depth ECRs activities, such as "everyone saves 1%, and the cost is reduced by 10%", so that the unit manufacturing cost of fiber in four sectors decreased year-on-year, and the total cost decreased by 3% year-on-year.
