#02 price center moves up

From the cost side, the international oil price continued to rise. WTI and Brent crude oil prices rose from $48 / barrel and $51 / barrel at the beginning of the year to $75 / barrel and $78 / barrel at the end of September, with an increase of more than 50%. According to the statistics of China Customs, from January to September, the export of main varieties of chemical fiber was 3.5484 million tons, with a year-on-year increase of 21.49%, and the growth rate decreased significantly by 21.03 percentage points compared with the first half of the year. On the one hand, the base increased in the same period last year, and on the other hand, the production and supply decreased in the third quarter. On the whole, chemical fiber exports still maintained a growth trend. Although the growth rate decreased month on month, the export scale still exceeded the level before the epidemic, with an average growth rate of 3.31% in the two years.

In terms of export, affected by the recovery of international market demand and the return of some overseas orders, China's textile and garment export maintained a good growth. According to the data of China Customs express, from January to September, China's textile and garment exports totaled US $227.59 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.6%, a slowdown of 6.5 percentage points compared with the first half of the year, and an average increase of 6.2% in the two years. The garment export situation improved significantly. From January to September, the garment export reached US $122.41 billion, a year-on-year increase of 25.3%, the highest growth level in the same period since 2010, with an average growth of 4.2% in the two years. Affected by the falling demand for international epidemic prevention materials, from January to September, the textile export volume was US $105.18 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 10.7%, but the average growth rate in the two years still reached 8.6%.
