The continuous rise of international oil price provides strong support for the chemical fiber market, but it also increases the production cost of enterprises. In the first three quarters, the overall operating load of the chemical fiber industry remained high, but in September, due to the double control of energy consumption, the operating load decreased rapidly. Taking direct spinning polyester filament as an example, the operating load was about 85% in early September and decreased to about 75% in late September; Although it rebounded slightly in October, it is still in low load operation, with an average monthly operating load of about 77%, a new low in the year. According to the data of the National Bureau of statistics, from January to September, the chemical fiber output was 50.37 million tons, with a year-on-year increase of 13.54%. Taking January to September 2019 as the base period, the average growth rate of chemical fiber output in two years was 6.75%.

On a monthly basis, affected by the change of chemical fiber output base last year, the year-on-year growth rate of chemical fiber output this year fell month by month (Figure 2).
