1. Cotton fibers are lost due to drying, and flying flowers increase, which is not conducive to improving the working environment and deteriorating labor conditions. At the same time, the increase in cotton waste is not conducive to saving cotton.
2. Due to the electrostatic effect, the fibers are scattered, the cotton net is floating, which affects the transfer and affects the stripping.
3. The cotton net is broken, mainly due to broken edges, which leads to unevenness and affects the yarn quality;
4. It is difficult to peel cotton with aprons, rollers, or chopping knives, which causes the cotton net to stick to the doffer, and it is easy to damage the clothing.
5. The sliver is fluffy, poorly formed, and easy to produce slivers, which reduces the capacity of the sliver barrel, increases the number of barrel changes, and increases the number of barrel changes. When the barrel is changed, the sliver is fluffy and easily falls to the ground, causing oil stains.
2. The effect on carding when relative humidity is too high
1. The card clothing is susceptible to rust due to moisture, which affects the normal carding and shortens the service life of the machine;
2. Cotton roll adhesion, which seriously affects the evenness of the sliver;
3. Cotton nets sag due to high moisture, increasing decapitation and increasing flower return;
4, cotton fiber is not easy to slacken and cannot be carded well, so the impurity removal efficiency is reduced, and the neps are increased;
5. It is easy to go around the rollers, plug the inclined pipe and increase broken ends;
6, the channel is not smooth, the bottom of the large leak is easy to emboss, and the cotton net has broken edges and holes, which often cause the doffer to return flowers and tie the card clothing.
Due to different regions, different processes, different processing materials, and the range of temperature and humidity in the workshop, the temperature and humidity control range of general cotton spinning and carding processes is: winter temperature 20-25 degrees Celsius, relative humidity 55-50%; summer temperature 31-33 degrees Celsius, relative humidity 55-60%.
