Reasonable use of yarn collector to improve yarn quality

With the continuous improvement of the quality grade of cotton yarn and customer demand, in order to improve the clarity of knitted fabric lines and yarn quality, the company increased the input of special parts, selected high-precision bearings, steel rings and imported steel rings, but the hairiness still can not meet customer requirements. In the subsequent research, Nanyang Haiyong textile and Garment Enterprise Co., Ltd. began to try to use the pre spinning area collector to improve the hairiness index, and achieved good results and improve the yarn quality.

The function of the collector is to shrink the width of the sliver, reduce the twist triangle area, and twist the sliver in a relatively tight state, so that the structure of the finished yarn is tight, the appearance is bright and clean, the hairiness is less and the strength is increased; at the same time, it can prevent the edge fiber from scattering, reduce flying flowers, reduce down roller flowers, and save cotton.

At present, there are two kinds of collectors in China, double rib collector and frame collector. Two kinds of aggregators produced by a company are selected for comparative test under the same spindle and roving conditions. The results show that the double rib aggregator has a good effect on the yarn quality improvement. In the white flower test of the bellows, it is 0.5639 for 420 ingots without collector, 0.4179 for using double rib collector and 0.4529 for using frame collector. If we use the double rib collector every year instead of installing the collector, we can save 11.51 tons of cotton, and the benefit is very considerable.

According to the test data, we began to test spinning on two spinning frames. After a period of time, the effect is ideal. However, after large-scale use, there are many problems, such as the throbbing of the collector, the blackening of the cot surface, the damage of the collector, the improper installation, and the increase of sudden yarn defects.

As for the bouncing phenomenon of the collector, we have checked it from the source. Each new collector must be picked and inspected, including the deformation of the steel wire frame and the removal of the burr at the opening. Because our factory all uses the air shaker, the collector is hung and installed on the pin spring of the cradle, which makes the stability of the collector poor, the operation in use is unbalanced, and the rubber roller friction produces the phenomenon of jumping. In view of this situation, we first treated the surface of the cot with light, reducing the surface roughness, reducing the friction between the surface of the cot and the collector due to the astringency of the cot; at the same time, we moved the upper pin spring of the cradle to make it in a proper position. After installing the collector and pressing down the cradle, the upper pin, the collector and the leather roller are stable, avoiding the collision between the epithelial ring and the collector, and the collector jumping caused by the unstable wire frame.

After installing the collector, it is found that the floating area is too small, which directly causes the collector to be close to the leather roller in the operation process, and the movable gap of the collector is too small, which causes the collector to rub with the rubber roller greatly, resulting in many rubber roller surfaces blackening, heating, damage and grooving, as well as a lot of short plush accumulated at the opening of the collector. In view of this problem, combined with the actual situation, the original 46 mm scale of the iron roller is moved to 47 mm, and the front rubber roller is changed from 3 mm front punching to 4 mm front punching. After this adjustment, the floating area spacing is increased, the number of blackening and wear of the leather roller is greatly reduced, which plays a good role.

In addition to reducing the friction between the rubber roller and the collector, the cross movement of the collector should also be flexible. Since the collector is hung on the upper pin spring, it is driven to move left and right by the transverse motion of the yarn bar, which requires that the transverse motion device of the spinning frame must be flexible to ensure that it is between 7-9mm. In addition, the cleaning cycle of the spinning frame is about 15-20 days. The surface of the cots is sticky due to the accumulation of cotton wax. The cots are easy to get astringent after cleaning and getting on the train. Therefore, talcum powder can be used properly to keep the cots dry, clean and reduce friction.
