In the trade of nylon spinning, we often encounter such a situation. The other party tells you not the specific specifications, but uses T to express it. For example, the other party said: "We want 190T nylon spinning" and "We want 240T nylon spinning" . Although it does not tell you the specific specifications, it can actually calculate the specifications of its products.
What is the T in it?
T represents the number of warp threads per inch of nylon spinning plus the number of weft threads, that is, the number of warp densities in the British system + the number of weft densities
How to calculate?
First, we convert it into the metric number of warp density + weft density, such as "190T" is 190 pieces/inch ÷ 2.54cm/inch=74.8 pieces/cm.
Then check the "China Export Silk and Satin Uniform Specifications", and the finished product of 21174 nylon has a warp density of 40.5 threads/cm and a weft density of 34 threads/cm. The sum of the two is 74.5 threads/cm, which meets the requirements.
The look-up table shows that the finished warp density of 21175 nylon spinning is 40.5 threads/cm and the weft density is 34 threads/cm. The sum of the two is 74.5 threads/cm, which also meets the requirements.
However, the width of the finished product of 21174 nylon spinning is 93cm, while that of 21175 nylon spinning is 113.5cm. If the other party wants 93cm “190T” nylon spinning, it refers to the former, and 114cm “190T” spinning refers to the former. the latter.
To this end, you can also produce 160cm "190T" nylon spinning, as long as the door width of the above specifications is widened.
Why is the specification of nylon spinning indicated by "T"?
The main nylon spinning is a bulk product, and the warp and weft materials are mostly 78dtex (70 denier) brocade.
For example, there are 23 kinds of nylon spinning products listed in the "China Export Silk and Satin Uniform Specifications". There are 12 kinds of 78dtex (70 denier) brocade silk for warp and weft, and 8 kinds of 78dtex (70 denier) brocade silk for warp or weft.
Therefore, the warp density and weft density of the product are determined, and the thickness of nylon spinning is basically defined. It is more convenient to use "T" to indicate it. Everyone is used to calling its specifications by this relatively simple method.
