Xu Huimin said that Nantong is firmly shouldering the glorious mission of building Jiangsu into a new growth pole in the future, integrating into southern Jiangsu in an all-round way, docking with Shanghai in an all-round way, promoting high-quality development in an all-round way, striving to build a major city in the core triangle of Shanghai Suzhou Nantong metropolitan area, building a new comprehensive transportation hub, a new high-end manufacturing center, and a new first choice for innovation and entrepreneurship. On June 29, the construction of a new sea port in Tongzhou Bay was started. At the opening ceremony, the planning of "Nantong International Home Textile Trade City" and the planning of Tongzhou Bay modern textile industrial park were released.
