Recently, at the invitation of the International Federation of Textile Manufacturers (IFTA) and the German Textile Machinery Association, Sun Ruizhe, President of the China Textile Industry Federation, led a delegation to Germany and Spain to attend the IFTA Textile Machinery Seminar, to visit the Frankfurt Technical Textiles and Nonwoven Fair in Germany, and to visit local research institutes, textile manufacturing and clothing brand enterprises. The IFTA Textile Machinery Seminar is a traditional Symposium of IFTA, which is sponsored annually by the Swiss, German and Italian Textile Machinery Associations in turn. Representatives of member countries of IFTA and major textile machinery manufacturing enterprises around the world were invited to attend the meeting to exchange in-depth information on the current situation and development of textile industry, especially textile machinery industry in various countries. This year's conference was held in Frankfurt, Germany, on May 8. 152 industry representatives from nearly 20 countries and regions around the world attended the conference.
Sun Ruizhe, President of China Textile Industry Federation and Vice-President of International Textile Federation, was invited to give a speech at the meeting, explaining the current situation and future of China's textile industry.
Sun Ruizhe pointed out that China's textile industry is at the key point of transformation and upgrading. China's textile economy has slowed down and its cost has risen, which conforms to the law of economic development and reflects the deepening of China's textile transformation and upgrading. Textile machinery is an important support for China's textile transformation and upgrading.
Regarding the development of China's textile industry, Sun Ruizhe pointed out that the development of the industry has long been a zero-sum game, and cooperation has become an important source of competitive advantage. We should establish a new concept of industrial development: from focusing on competition to seeking synergy, from a single structure to a pluralistic ecosystem, from forced adaptation to active innovation, from emphasizing ownership to sharing, from interest-oriented to responsibility-oriented development. The development of China's textile industry should focus on the following four aspects: first, to enrich industrial supply, enhance environmental adaptability, to form effective and diversified industrial supply with market, capital, network, technology and culture as the grasp; second, to improve the supporting system, enhance industrial carrying capacity, upgrade industrial structure, service and innovative infrastructure, and enhance industrial operation efficiency and release industrial innovation vitality; Third, deepen intelligent manufacturing, enhance flexible production capacity, implement “Made in China 2025”, promote the application and integration of management information system, accelerate the construction of management, standards and credit system, promote the coordination of management process, personnel quality and intelligent manufacturing system; Fourth, implement social responsibility, enhance sustainable development capacity, promote social responsibility and optimize supply. We should build a chain, strengthen green manufacturing capacity, develop green products, create green factories, build green parks, and improve the green manufacturing support system.
At the meeting, Chairman of IFTA, Chairman of the African Cotton and Textile Industry Federation, Baidi, Vice-Chairman of IFTA and President of Korea Fiber Industry Federation, Cheng Jihe, made speeches on the current situation and development trend of textile industry in Africa, Korea, Bangladesh, Brazil, Pakistan, Turkey and Europe.
Meanwhile, representatives from Murata Machinery, Erikan, Grotz, Sanderson, Megani and other textile machinery enterprises shared their market performance in 2016, and prospected the development trend of textile machinery market in 2017.
It was announced that the next IFTA Textile Machinery Seminar would be held in Zurich, Switzerland, in April 2018, under the auspices of the Swiss Textile Machinery Association.
