The report shows that China, the United States, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, France, South Korea, Brazil and India have no change in the ranking and array of manufacturing power development index in 2019 compared with the average year of 2018. The development index of manufacturing power in the United States is still higher than other countries, ranking in the first array with outstanding comprehensive advantages; Germany and Japan are in the second array with obvious comparative advantages China, South Korea, France and Britain are in the third array, with China in the top. Judging from the changes in the development index of manufacturing powers in various countries from 2012 to 2019, although countries have never stopped catching up with the United States, the dominant position of the United States' manufacturing industry has remained stable, and China has become the country with the fastest overall improvement.

From China's sub indexes, "scale development" is still the main support force in the process of manufacturing power, and the manufacturing industry has not yet got rid of the scale driven development path.
