The strength and elasticity of spandex fiber will be decreased obviously by high temperature and damp heat. Therefore, the lower the moisture content is, the better when it enters the high temperature heat setting area. It can be realized by adjusting the temperature of each temperature zone in the heat setting machine or drying by a pre dryer. When the moisture content of viscose and Modal / Spandex Knitted fabric is high, the fiber rigidity is large and the handle is hard, so the strong stretching can not enter into the heating area of the heat setting machine, otherwise, the difference between the edge and medium density of the fabric will be large. Therefore, the pre drying at lower temperature under transverse relaxation or low tension stretching state should be carried out first.
