The reporter recently learned from the textile industry that the international standard IS01833-28:2019, which is led by China Textile Institute China Textile Standard Inspection and Certification Co., Ltd. (referred to as China Textile Standard), is the 28th part of textile quantitative chemical analysis. Some other fiber blends (thin acetic acid method) were officially released, filling the gap in the international industry.
It is understood that chitosan fiber has special functions such as biocompatibility, broad-spectrum antibacterial property and biodegradability, and is applied to textile, medical and health fields. Due to the poor spinnability of chitosan fibers, in many cases blended with other fibers, the unique properties of chitosan fibers depend on the content of chitosan fibers, and the amount of the product determines the price of the product. This standard provides an effective method for the determination of chitosan fiber content, and provides a discriminating technical basis for production, use, trade and other related stakeholders.
It is reported that at present, such standards are still blank in the world, and the proposal of this project has attracted the attention of the textile industry worldwide. Previously, China Textiles organized international joint trials in laboratories in France, Germany, South Korea, China, Belgium, Portugal, Italy and other countries, and prepared nearly 100 test samples, from tissue testing, collecting information to data statistics. In the recent years, through unremitting efforts, we have achieved satisfactory results and made the subsequent work progress smoothly. The ISO standard was formulated for three years and was officially released in the near future.
According to industry sources, the analysis of textile fiber components has always been a key area of concern for the textile industry. At present, there are more than 20 IS01833 series standards related to this, most of which are formulated by the EU countries. As part of the series, the IS0 standard has broken this pattern and is another breakthrough in the success of China's textile superiority field standards.
