The output of chemical fiber, yarn, cloth, printing and dyeing cloth and clothing of Enterprises above designated size increased by 11.8%, 11.6%, 9.1%, 18.0% and 8.9% respectively year-on-year.
From January to October, textile enterprises above Designated Size realized an operating revenue of 4138.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.2%; The total profit was 19.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 29.7%. The retail sales of clothing, shoes and hats, knitwear and textile products of units above the national quota increased by 17.4% year-on-year; The retail sales of online wear commodities in China increased by 14.1% year-on-year, with an average growth of 3.0% in the two years.
From January to October, China's textile and garment exports reached US $256.5 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.0%, of which textile exports reached US $117.7 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 9.1%; Clothing exports reached 138.9 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 25.2%.
